The Ed Hale for Governor campaign today announced the endorsement of Delegate Nic Kipke, adding another respected conservative leader to the growing coalition supporting businessman Ed Hale’s campaign for Governor of Maryland.
Kipke, one of the longest-serving Republican leaders in the Maryland General Assembly and the expected next State Senator representing Pasadena and surrounding Anne Arundel County communities, said Maryland needs a governor with real-world business experience who understands how to grow the economy and stop businesses from leaving the state.
“Maryland is in a tough place right now, and I’m deeply concerned about the direction our state is headed,” said Delegate Nic Kipke. “Costs are through the roof. Energy bills are becoming unaffordable for Maryland families, healthcare costs continue rising, and people are looking for real solutions. We need new leadership and a new direction, and I believe Ed Hale is that solution. There are good people running in this race, but I believe Ed Hale and Tyrone Keys are the team that can get Republicans over the finish line and move Maryland in a better direction.”
Kipke’s endorsement marks another sign of growing momentum for Hale’s outsider campaign as Republicans across Maryland continue rallying behind his business-driven vision for the state.
Hale said he was honored to earn the support of one of Maryland’s most respected Republican leaders.
“Nic Kipke has proven himself to be a strong and effective leader who is deeply committed to the people he represents,” said Ed Hale. “Throughout his service in the General Assembly, Nic has consistently fought for taxpayers, public safety, and common-sense policies while always putting his constituents first. As Governor, Hale has pledged to focus on reversing Maryland’s economic decline by lowering taxes, reducing burdensome regulations, supporting job creators, and stopping the exodus of businesses and residents to neighboring states.
The endorsement continues to build momentum for Hale’s campaign as elected officials, business leaders, and grassroots conservatives increasingly unite behind his vision for Maryland’s future.
